A Plea for More Access...
Many of us know what it's like to make plans for your life and watch your plans cave right before your eyes. The thing we've longed for, studied for, sacrificed for, dreamed for, can become a nightmare. While pursuing my dream of building a career in Human Resources, I stumbled a few times. The doors to my dreams appeared to have been super glued shut. Help seemed to be found nowhere. I often revisit the memory of my failed career endeavor. If it were not for the strong connections I made with selfless people who shared their words of advice and guidance of where to look next; I would have let that failed moment define my life's pursuit. As I reflect, I could have easily settled into a mindset of "maybe this isn't for me". How many people are still crushed by the words of those who should be leading them into success but instead are overcasting them with words that would crush their ambition?

The challenge to be a success is prevalent in today's society. Like many of my peers, I assumed getting my college degree would open the floodgates of opportunities. I learned the hard way, that's not always the case. I have discovered book smarts with no experience can be a recipe for disaster without proper guidance. I have been fortunate enough to encounter many seasoned professionals who have shared their insights about what I have been looking for: THE TRUTH! People who wouldn't mind sharing their truths about my career dream.
In a world where everything costs, why couldn't sharing how to be a success be free? I believe that if those who have traveled long journeys to get to where they are would share their personal truths about their road, we would be so much further along as a society. Unfortunately the fear of being replaced by others has hindered progress.
Just imagine how many young professionals and those looking to change careers would benefit from the knowledge we have gained. It is the best practices, insights, and practical hands-on experiences that qualifies us as experts in our crafts! Imagine being what you needed to others in need of sound advice? We need wisdom that experience produces. We need someone to give us access to doors that others may not know how to push open alone.This is why Access Granted was created.
My "yes" is for all those who have been looking for exposure, sound advice, experience, and access to higher heights.
